Unboxing the first copies of my book was shared with the trees.
A particular joy of living in a tropical climate is growing the magical cacao tree. While it is enough to interact with this beautiful plant creature with its exquisite fruits, we can go deeper. We can make delicious nibs and chocolate from just a handful of pods from one or a few trees.
I wrote this book for my friends and neighbors who expressed their desires to taste their own chocolate. They want to harvest their pods, dig their hands into ferments, and roast their home-grown cocoa beans. The protocols in this book have been tested to great success. It will teach you how to go from tree to nib or pod to chocolate or beans to bonbons. Welcome to the tiny batch chocolate tribe!
